After the events of last school year still linger in Mina Woodenhorn's mind, her main focus is in the mysterious smoke, Drystan, and when he'll return. From not seeing her friends Lille and Jameson all Harvest, Mina is ready to get back to Dormriams, School of Magic. As the three of them reconnect they begin to investigate their knowledge of what happened last year, specifically the small golden stone that fell from Mina's katana. They are not expecting it to lead them in the direction of a hidden door under the staircase.
